Air Transportation
The nearest commercial airport is 52 miles from Grove at Joplin, Missouri. Several airlines are available for service. Grove Municipal Airport is located approximately 1-1/2 miles east of the City of Grove, and is adjacent to the Grove Industrial Park. The Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission has classified it as a regional airport for northeast Oklahoma, and is the ninth largest airport in Oklahoma for based aircraft. The runway is 4200' x 75' and allows for several instrument approaches. A parallel taxi-way was completed in the spring of 1999 and the runway and taxi-way are expected to be lengthened to 5,000' in the spring of 2000.
Water Transportation
The nearest water transportation is the Port of Catoosa. It is 60 miles from Grove and has a channel depth of 9 feet. It is connected via the Arkansas River to the Mississippi River and the Gulf of Mexico.

Road System
Grove is located at the intersection of US 59, SH 10, and SH 25. The nearest interstate highway is I-44, approximately 12 miles to the north.

Accommodations
The city has 9 hotels/motels with 200 rooms. An additional 600 rooms are available at the nearby Shangri-La resort and conference center. The largest banquet room in Grove seats 150.

The City of Grove has a satellite campus of Northeast Oklahoma A&M College and is 50 miles from Pittsburg State of Kansas and Missouri Southern in Joplin. The Northeast Technology Center is 13 miles away.

There is a public library in Grove.

Industrial Financing
The Oklahoma Finance Authorities (OFA) provide low interest financing through the issuance of general obligation bonds. The loans are established at 300 basis points over cost. In a first mortgage position the loan can be up to $1.25 million. Many Oklahoma counties have voted approval of General Obligation Limited-Tax Bonds for economic development. The amount of bonds the counties can issue is limited to no more than could be retired by a special tax levy of 5 mills. The proceeds of the bonds are generally used to acquire or build a facility associated with the development project. Lease income from the facility is used to amortize the bonds.

Grove also provides the Cherokee Queen excursion boats, the Wolf Creek Jamboree Show, Grand Grove Opry, LenDonwood Botanical Garden, Satsuki Gardens, Grand Golf' N Go and Har-Ber Village. The Honey Creek State Park is located in the southern portion of Grove. Many access points to Grand Lake are found in and around Grove.

The City of Grove as a convention and civic center. The building is available for festivals, meetings and conventions.
