Notes: Sit ins were all the rage in 1989. They didn't really accomplish anything, as best as I can recall. As I said in the previous strip, they seemed to be more about proving that the students of the day were just as committed as those of 20 years earlier than about getting anything done. Which is a real shame, because evils like apartheid, domestic violence, racism and sexism, and voodoo economics really did need to be dealt with.
