Basics and History
This site is for Cynthia. It's basically her blog with just a bit more stuff. Writing by itself isn't that great, so that's where the other stuff comes in. You all already know this, so I won't treat you like newborns. This site has been up for about 7 months. It has had 2 past layouts. The first one didn't last so long, for reasons you don't need to know. The second layout was more of a success and worked out great. But you're too late now, so you can't see it. Obviously. Maybe I'll post something on my main site about my past layouts. The site has always been on Geocities. It's really the only thing I can use because 1) I don't have a job or other supply of money so that I can buy a domain 2) I've trusted this place for a while, and I have a chain of other sites hosted by Geocities. Alot of people have that ad thing on it, but I don't. Suckas. Unless you use a MAC or something other than IE (Internet Explorer). Whichever, they both suck. If you actually see that ad on the top right screen and you are using a PC with IE, please let me know (scroll down). Details Regarding the Layout
The two main colors are obviously orange and white. I wanted to use orange because I haven't used it, or seen it been used for a while. And I used a white background to give it a "basic" or "professional" look. I don't know, but that's what it seems to me. I didn't have any influences from other places, or so I think. It truly is basic. And simple. And that's normal for me. All I have to say is that I look for content. Some sources I used were: Adobe Photoshop 6, Paint Shop Pro 7, Dynamic Drive, Microsoft Frontpage and good ol' notepad. I used Dynamic Drive stuff in the index (preload) and in the calendar (hovering captions). They all should work for IE users. I would like to give my thanks those people who created my sources. Questions, Comments, Complaints
The purpose of this part is to let me know how you guys think of it. If you have some urge to tell me it sucks/kicks ass, let me know. Or if there are some problems with the way you see the site, let me know. Bottom line: if you have questions, comments, or complaints about the look, feel, and operation of the site, let me know in some way of contact. I try to make the site work for most people.
