The boys from Starvingman have brought us something fresh and new for 2004.

It has been sometime since their last studio sourjourn. That slab being the raw Hotel Mariana with its songs of reflection on life, love, lust, relationships, alienation and nuclear devastation.

Utah 2 presents the listener with a preview of things to come, but at the same time... closure to a period in the bands career.

From the opening riff of "My Good Omen" to the atmospheric "Discarded Soul" to the rework of the live favourite "We Is", Starvingman show that they are truly an original and gifted 4 piece.

The other 2 tracks are 'Locum' and "I'm Laughing" which sound like outtakes from their Fast album. This is partly true as these tracks were written around that time just after the Fast album was completed.

Early 2004 sees the band start a new full length studio album. The results of this are to be determined. There are hints of a more hardier hitting sound, but also further atmospheres and experimentation with soundscapes and exotic instrumentation. Stay tuned, but in the meantime enjoy the flava....... You Tar Too!!!!!!!
