Yoga opens your heart and soul, it brings you into sync with the energy of the universe, and by doing this, it brings a boundless wellspring of peace and happiness. The study of yoga is a journey which returns the student to a place of peace and wholeness. This wholeness is always present within us, but we become disconnected from it by life's stressors. While your whole life won't change after just one class, you will leave feeling more relaxed.

Physically, yoga brings flexibility and strength, and it improves balance. A long-term yoga practice reduces blood pressure, improves circulation, stimulates the metabolism, and reduces physical and mental stress. An appropriate yoga class brings health to the spine, the joints, and the digestive, circulatory and nervous systems. It builds psychological wellness by teaching effective stress management techniques, stabilizing sleep patterns, and balancing the emotions.

I love yoga with all of my heart! I want to share my love of this beautiful, ancient approach to wellness with my students in each and every class. I've practiced yoga since I was a child, and I reap the benefits every day.
