LCHS - New Beginnings:
Architectural Changes Through The Decades

Changes In Architectural Design

Here is one of the design drawings from the architects of the new high school started in 1983 and completed in 1985.

My What A Difference!

Here is one of the architects designs for the old 1922 school that was just razed to make room for the new school in 1983. A little difference in technique, wouldn't you say?

A Three Dimensional Model Of The New 1983 School

In the modern era we even get models in the field of architecture. Probably only adds a million dollars to the total cost. *Big Grin*

Another Drawing Of The Old High School

Here is another design drawing I found that shows the 1922 high school from a different angle before the 1957 addition was added. Kinda neat, don't you think? I wonder how they changed the flag. Maybe a ladder at the top of one of the fire escapes went to the roof or something.

An Aerial Shot Of The New Completed School In 1985

The new Lebanon High School is completed and this aerial shot shows the new building from the clouds along with the ball diamond and track. The 1957 gym even has a new roof on it from the tornado damage. A new era begins in 1985. The question is, did any of our ghosts from the past stick around or did they vacate the old high school and the premises for good. I'd say many of them still live on in infamy. What do you think? *chuckle*
