Don Bosco, Trivandrum is a registered Non-Governmental Charitable Voluntary Organisation in India. It is registered as Trivandrum Don Bosco Veedu Society, Registration No. 963/91. The organisation is primarily run by Salesians.
Trivandrum
is the capital city of India's southern most state, Kerala. And like
all other cities in India, there is slum dwelling, unemployment,
poverty and migration, which lead to the breaking up of families and
social fabrics. Children drop out from schools and wander the streets.
Many of whom become rag pickers, drug addicts, drug peddlers, homeless,
shoe-shiners and victims of sexual, physical, and psychological abuse.
