This is an English shortcut version of my main web site which is featured in my
native czech language -therefore czech version of my site is bigger,
more developed and frequently updated. But I'm about to pay more attention
to this english version as I found out from the site visits statistics
that 80% of my site visitors are people who come from non-czech speaking countries.
It's a shame that I update my czech site every week but this english one
barely twice a year....! So the changes are promised ....

About me

My name is Petr S. I was born on Aug. 5, 1977
in the city of Prague - the capital of The Czech Republic,
located in Central Europe. I still live in Prague.

Czech people never considered themselves and their country to be the part
of something that the Westerners call The Eastern Europe.
In it's own people's eyes The Czech Republic has always been part of The Central Europe.
For example Czech capital Prague is located much more westwards than Vienna
which even the Westerners don't put in the East.
Czech Republic didn't start it's history in the middle of the nowhere in 1993.
There is 1000 years long history and continuity of the Czech statehood.
The buildings and architecture of Prague are the most visible proof
that the Czechs have long history and were never part of The Eastern Europe.
About my studies
I studied The Law Faculty of Charles University in Prague 1997-2003.
I graduated on 13th March 2003

My interests and hobbies
  • This is just a 2 year old shortcut list of hobbies, - recently I have much more other things to do....
  • Music - '60s and '70s - The Beatles, John Lennon, Sean Lennon, Bob Dylan,
    Simon & Garfunkel, Stevie Wonder, David Bowie, ABBA, ... etc.
  • Television channels - CT 2, Max1, CNN, CNBC, BBC, EuroNews, MTV, ... etc.
  • Radio station -Limonadovy Joe 90,3 FM (Prague), plays music of '60s and '70s.
  • Sport - badminton, table tennis, cycling, swimming, (tennis and ice hockey on T.V.).
  • Film(Movie) - Woody Allen, Milos Forman, ... etc.
  • History - 19th a 20th century.
  • Books - about history and politics, biographies of famous people.
  • Traveling - England, France, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway,
    Germany, Austria, Hungary, Poland, Bulgaria, Croatia.
