LATEST NEWS 27/09/01 Ex-colleague and Gillingham fan, Stuart Cook, has linked people to this site from his own Fatskier. Welcome to those who have come from there, and check it out if you've not been before. A superb site, I think its fair to say thats a receptacle for the majority of dirge and strange shit out there on the internet. Cheers Stu! I am in the process of adding more and more functionality to this site. I still feel I have much to do. I am setting up www.shollid.com and completing a re-design in the background to this. Apologies to those who have had slow download time for the pages from the site. The graphics on the site are optimized to minimize download time. Also, this site is best viewed on a screen resolution of 1024x768 pixels. If you are using 800x600 you should not notice any problems, though you will have to scroll. The reason for this site is to showcase my work from the print field from my time working at Pulp magazine in Manchester and some work I also have completed online. Hence why some of these articles are a couple of years old, and some are more up to date. Appearing most recently is my review of Ross Clarke's Revolver night from 333 in March, and the Beastie Boys review from 1998. Appearing soon will be more album reviews (past and present), interviews with Tortoise, Lionrock, and the first ever Badly Drawn Boy interview conducted just before he released his first single. Live Reviews is being expanded to include reviews of one of the Verve's last ever performances (in Los Angeles) and Underworld's storming New Years Eve 1999 concert at Alexandra Palace. If you wish to contact me to discuss these articles or future work then please email me at stuartholliday@yahoo.co.uk |
