LEAD-IN ACTIVITY 1

I will use OHP in this activity.Firstly I show this picture and I want them to look at the pictures in A and B . Some things are the same ; others are different.Then I want them to find at least 8 of the differences between these two pictures.My aim for using these pictures is to teach the structure of "
there is",  "there are".Before starting the lesson using these pictures is only introduction to the subject.

PICTURE A

PICTURE B

LEAD-IN ACTIVITY 2

Before I start the lesson I read a poem which belongs to Doris DAY.Its name is "CHE SERA SERA" I make an introduction to the "
Future Tense" with this poem.After reading a poem , I ask some questions to the students about poem.Such as ; "what did you feel after reading poem ?" , "what does it remind you?" and  is there any poem that they know.

                   CHE SERA SERA
When I was just a little girl,
I asked my mother, "what will I be?"
"Will I be pretty ?Will I be rich?"
Here's what she said too me;
"Che sera sera, whatever will be ,will be!
The future is not ours to see, Che Sera Sera"

When I grew up and fell in love;
I asked my sweetheart ,"what lies ahead?"
"Will we have rainbows , day after day?"
Here's what my sweetheart said;
"Che Sera Sera.....  ......"

Now I have children of my own;
They ask their mother, "what will I be?"
"Will I be handsome , will I be rich?"
I tell them tenderly,
Che Sera Sera....   ......"

LEAD IN ACTIVITIES

ACTIVITY 1

One of the ways of the lead in activities is '' a guessing game by drawing pictures '' , and , now, I will give you an example of using this way in the lesson about a particular grammar point.  My grammar point here is '' Adjectives ''

Before moving into the lesson, I will ask them if they can draw pictures well, then, say that '' let's play an enjoyful game by drawing some pictures .''

'' Now, I will say some sentences describing a person's feeling, and, you will draw a simple picture as an answer on your sheets , maybe a face, ''  Before begining, I will make an example for them, then, start the game.

For example :  '' Fernando had a low grade on his English exam ''  '' so, How could Fernando feel? ''  Later, I will draw a picture of face, which shows that he is sad , or show them a flash card which I prepared before.    Lastly, I will move into the lesson using the statements and the lists they drew, so I can teach the adjectives by this enjoyful activity.

ACTIVITY 2

Another way is '' Singing a song / Listening a song ''  My aim here is to teach them  ' If Clause ( type 1 ) '

Before begining the lesson, I will get the students to listen to a song, and say that '' You will listen to a song now and perform some actions you heare while listening to it ''   We will listen to  it together by performing.  The song is like that :

             THE HAPPY SONG

    If you are happy and you know it, clap your hands
    If you are happy and you know it, clap your hands
    If you are happy and you really want to show it
    If you are happy and you know it, clap your hands...
aand it goes on like this.

After listening, I will ask some questions about the song '' Is it a happy song or sad ? ''
                                                                              '' Did you enjoy while listening to it ? ''
                                                                              ''...etc.
As a final, I will write some sentences of the song on the board underlining the clauses used in If Clause Type 1, and make another sentences. Therefore, I will entirely begin the lesson, in other words, move into the while teaching.
