Sleep? Nani?
I went to bed at 9, naturally that means I didn't get to sleep until midnight or so. I decided to get out of bed at 3:20 and get ready. We left for the airport at 4 AM and got to the airport at 4:30.
Mom and dad really were sad to see me leave. Awww. Dad gave me an extra long hug. He really didn’t want me to leave.
Also fought with my CD player. Yeesh, Tig, what did you do to it? It hated me for a while and it worked perfectly beforehand. Grrr.
I talked with a nice guy on the way to Dallas. I hate having my ears pop and then I couldn’t hear toward the end. Oh well.
Arrived 20 minutes early in Texas and had a pretzel at Anne's or whatever and visited a nice restroom. Called mom and Sam, chatting with them during my 2 and a half hour layover.
Uneventful connecting flight. We were "treated" to CBS stuff and me being uncomfortable in my seat.
Cid picked up me at the airport. Fred was already at the house, so it was Kevin, Cid, Fred, and I hanging around, eating and such.
Cid and I went to the beach later. Fred had fallen asleep and Kevin was convinced he would be eaten by sharks. Cid and I had lots of fun, especially with the waves. Ocean water is extremely salty. Poor Nebraskan me. I had never been to a beach before this. I loved it!
Cid and I both got sunburned, but oh well. We watched some Al later and um…many hours later, it was time for bed.

Happy birthday, Kevin!
The day of the start of 5 days of Al! I woke up at 7:20, about two hours before Cid and Kevin. I kept waking up waaayyy before them. They eventually got up and we left for the fair at noon and got there at 12:30. We were the first ones in line. Kristi was the next to arrive after us and then more people eventually showed up. I got to meet some of the people on-line I hadn't met before and get to see ones I had again.
Bermuda showed up a bit and went, "The show isn't till eight. Scram!" LOL! I finally had him sign my drumstick there. I told him it was the one from two years ago and he was amazed he didn't sign it beforehand.
This was the start of the days that Kevin got addicted to the Traveling Game Show guy. That's how Kevin spent most of days at the fairs; he would follow the Traveling Game Show guy.
They opened the gates at 7, while telling us to walk and not run. Course, people do not listen. The seating was very confusing on the first day. Oy. I encountered some very evil people that day. There were some technical difficulties at that show. This one was missing Horoscope, PATLC, OMM, DED, and Melanie.
We got into the VIP section that night (which is 4 rows in the center section that was off limits unless you had a pass.) One of the guards found out it was Kevin's birthday, so we he let Kevin, Cid, Natasha, and I in.
I got the Frito line during WBUL. Yay!
During Yoda, someone wasn't singing so Al said, "Come on! Sing!" They still weren't singing so he yelled, "You're ruining the song for everybody!"
I got 81 signatures that night for the R&R petition. There were some really nice people out there. :) The rules had changed from last time, no flash photography, guards made sure to kick us out quickly. We got home and went to bed at 1.
