Review 7/22/04

Woke up at 7:30 this time. Woo! Kevin and I attempted to get my pictures to a cd on their computer, but they have Windows 98, didn’t work out. Tried Target, too expensive, and went to Samy's Cameras. We finally got to the line about 3:30 this time.

We saw Rubén go by, talking on a cell phone. I didn't want to bother him while he was on his cell phone. The gates opened at 7:15 this time. We got up front that night. Woo!

There was no Trash Day or OMM.:(

There was a random guitar solo at the end of Melanie, which happened every time Melanie was played.

I got sang to a bit during WBUL:
"Your face is real symmetrical
And your nostrils are so nice
I wish that I was cross-eyed
So I could see you twice"

Cid was sung to during WBUL, which made her ecstatic, and she got it right in the face. Hehe. Al was smacking his lips and having his tongue out at the beginning of the song. :O Wow.

Al even sang to a sign language interpreter during WBUL. That was hilarious! Also to a security guard in the back. He was going all out.

Al's poor hair got caught in one of the buckles during Fat. He tried to pry it loose, but it just wouldn't budge, so he stayed like that for a bit and then snapped his head back with a sound effect. OUCH!

Then we got the most surprised during The Saga Begins. Al came out with Bela! The whole front row of us went, "Awwww!" It was so adorable. She is such a good dog, behaving so well. She would just look around, spent a lot of time looking at Steve. Steve would make funny faces to her and start dancing. LOL. Bela's ears twitched during the "Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee’s a ghost" part. So cute! All of us were so shocked. It was the most adorable thing ever.

We got to go backstage after the show. I finally got to meet Dr. Demento and get his autograph, plus a picture. Yay! I got a picture with the entire band that night, plus autographs.

I had my CD divider that I got from Wal-Mart (I asked for it!) signed from them. Bermuda looked at it and went, "So that's why the album isn't selling. No one can find it!" I then blurted out, "But I asked for it at Wal-Mart!" Bermuda finally remembered my name…after I told it to him again on Tuesday. ^_^

I got Rubén's autograph and then asked for a picture, jokingly saying, "I know. I’m just so demanding!" Rubén went all dramatic and went, "Yes, you are just so demanding!" So funny.

Also got to talk with Suzanne, got her autograph, and a picture with her. Suzanne said she remembered me! Cool! Cid commented on how she thought poodles were fidgety and yippy. Suzanne smiled and went, "Not our little girl." We kept commenting on how wonderful it was to see Bela and how well behaved she was.

Autograph and picture from Jim. Yay. I also got them from Steve. Steve said he watched me at the shows because I was so energetic, reminding him of a battery. I'm a battery now accordion to Steve. Hehe. Getting ready for the picture, I told him he was too tall, he said he could fix that and bent down quite a ways. I'm too short is the problem. Ack.

Time for Al! Shining moment. I wasn't really nervous at all again. I commented to him that I couldn't make up my mind where I lived anymore. ^_^ Every time I see him, I just hug him first thing. Yay. I also asked for a kiss on the cheek that night again. Woo-hoo! Thanks, Al! Such a happy night that night.
