Review 7/23/04

Woke up at 8 that day, when we got to bed at 12:30.

Horoscope and DED were missing from today’s set list. :( Oh well. I wore my OMM jacket my wardrobe slave a.k.a mom made. I got tons of compliments on it. Yay.

While sitting in front row again, we noticed there was a Miles! We all talked to him quickly and then I had the brilliant idea of having him sign the Rock and Roll petition. I grabbed the clipboard quickly and asked him to sign. He went, "Is this the Rock and Roll petition?" Yes, it is! "Sure, I'll sign!" I thanked him a whole bunch and chatted with him for a bit. I didn't notice until backstage that Miles had his leg in a brace. Poor Miles! He seemed to have gotten it from a hiking accident. He commented it seems that whenever the OC fair is around, one of the Jays is injured. Aww.

Steve put in some extra energy for the show since there was a Miles right there. :)

We got Let Me Be Your Hog this time. Heheh! Yay! Two of the songs performed so far!

I got the whole Frito line sung to me tonight. Yay! "Girl, you smell like Fritos
That's why I'm giving you this hungry stare."

Nirvana cup! I ran for it and grabbed it quickly. It was mine! Muahahaha! I love my cup. As I grabbed it, water flew on me from the second cup. Drenched! Yeah!

Al and Steve moshed so hard during Smells Like Nirvana, Steve's wig came off! :O Also, there were two audience moshers during the show. First time, security told them to get back to their seat, the second time they were kicked out, especially since one knocked over a barrier! Wow! As someone pointed out, it was a good thing I grabbed the cup when I did because they could've smooshed it!

The rest of the show went on like normal. We got backstage again. Hehe. It felt odd being back there two days in a row. I talked with Suzanne a bit. She said she took Nina out during the day to see the animals at the fair. I asked Suzanne if she would sign my Nirvana cup and she went, "Are you sure? Don't you want to isolate this for Al to sign?" I told her that she could sign it. She signed the bottom instead, but since the bottom is bumpy, she said I got the Crazy Suzanne signature. Hehe.

I then found Bermuda and asked him to sign it. He went, "Is this the one Al drank from?" I told him it was. He then suggested that I should take Al's DNA from it and make Al's children. :O I just blinked and went, "What?" Got my picture with him.

I took some pictures of the other fans for their pictures with Al. Two girls were amazed that I would do such a nice thing. It’s like they’ve never had such good things happen to them before. Huh.

It was my turn again and I hugged Al again. Yay. Told him I was happy that I finally got a Nirvana cup. ^_^ He signed it and I got my picture with him. I asked if he liked my OMM jacket and he asked if I made it. I said my usual wardrobe slave aka mom made it. Al liked it though! Yay!

They all had to leave quickly, so we said bye to them.

We got back about 12:30 or so again, watched some of BTM, and went to bed at 1:30.
