Audio CD Players

There are several CD Players on Linux which can be used to play audio CDs.

CD Player This is the default CD Player for Gnome desktop. besides having standard play buttons , this player lets you get tracdk information automatically from a CD database. You can also enter the track information manually.

KsCD Player The KsCD player comes with the KDE Desktop. Like Gnome-cd , this player lets you submit information about title, track, artists, etc.

CDPlay If you don't have access to the desktop, you can also play audio cds by using text based commands. this player lets you use your keyboard keys to play your CD, select tracks, go forward or back, eject, etc.

X Multimedia SystemThe xmms player plays a variety of audio formats, but can also play directly from a CD.
