Bridging the Gap for Better Communication

The Speech Connection is a private speech therapy and pathology practice, committed to providing quality speech and language therapy, emphasizing individual patient needs. The practice is owned and operated by Sue Sorg. Sue currently holds licences to practice both in Texas and in Australia.

Speech pathologists work with all aspects of communication including speech, writing, reading, signs, symbols and gestures. They also work with people who have difficulties swallowing food and drink."

The Speech Connection's practice consists of paediatric to geriatric clients in a variety of settings such as private office, home health management, hospital environment, nursing home or skilled residential premises. Therapy covers a range of disorders including, but not limited to, traditional speech and language treatment, voice and fluency, foreign accent improvement, mild to moderate/severe head trauma, mild to severe right and left sided aphasia, dysarthria, mild to severe dysphagia, and experience with Modified Barium Swallow studies. Treatment can be provided independently or as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
