The Back To Gargett Bullarama is our club's major project each year.
We join forces with the Gargett Branch of the Mirani Sugar Valley Lions
Club to organise this event.
The date this year is the 13th of September. There will be a bar if Mike remembers
to send the bar permit application in. Thanks to Warren who provided the details
for the application.
Marian School Special Education Unit
Our club has supported the Marian State School Special Education Unit. The club has provided a donation and labour towards the development of an out door plan area for the children of the special education unit. This allows the children the chance to play outdoors without continuous monitoring. Equipment is to be purchased by the school for the outdoor play area.
The IndentiKid Program is provided through schools in the local area. For a small fee a credit card size ID that can be carried in a purse or wallet is provided for parents. This provides up to date identification information and an up to date photo of their childen. This is used to assist emergency services and others if the kids need to be located. Normally after recovering club costs any profit is donated back to the host school.
