Please read the following fee structure carefully prior booking.
Assignment Description and Price (as of 1 July 2009)
(no GST payable)
On-site Non-Court Interpreting (non-technical and informal)
Brisbane Metro business hours
(9am - 5pm, Mon - Fri)		 $200 for the first hour (minimum charge) plus $20 parking fee if no free parking is provided on-site
$100 for each additional hour or part thereof
travel requirement to different job venues will incur extra fees

On-site Brisbane Court Interpreting  $700 per day (maximum 8 hours, 9am to 5pm), or
$400 per half day (9am to 1pm or 1pm to 5pm)
Plus parking fee $20 if no parking is provided on-site.
Time exceeding the pre-booked hour will be charged at hourly rate at $100 for each additional hour or part thereof.
150% rate applied for after hours (before 9am and after 5pm).

Simultaneous interpreting 150% rate applied (as a guide only, please e-mail details for quotation) if working with another interpreter alternately
Gold Coast or non-Brisbane Metro Rate as per Brisbane rate.  Add $200 for travel expenses.
After hours 5pm - 9am weekdays,  all Weekends and Public Holidays 150% normal rate applied
Conference & Delegation Preparation is the key. If you need time to prepare your speech and presentation, so does the interpreter. Advance notice is required and materials of relevant presentation should be provided in advance. Briefing notes, delegation list and running sheet are important. If you expect a professional presentation, kindly give plenty of notice and provide all aspects of materials available including technical vocabulary list and PowerPoint files to the interperter. Price may vary depending on nature of assignment. Please e-mail relevant requirement for quotation.  
Interstate Assignment

Rate as per Brisbane on-site rate plus reimbursemet of actual travelling costs. Minimum charge $400 (for 3.5 hours on-site)
plus   

$200 traveling time charge per flight ($400 per return flights).


Client is encouraged to book all travel arrangement, e.g. accommodation (inc. breakfast) and filghts.  Alternatively, client shall reimburse all actual traveling expenses (including airfares, ground transport (transfer taxi), accommodation (including breakfast) and other incidentals, etc.)  An outline of costs and copy of receipts will be provided at time of invoice..

Chinese Master of Ceremonies Bi-lingual MC upon request.

Translation $50 per 100 words or part thereof as a guide for non-technical, non-legal translation.
Full payment in advance is required.
Minimum fee: $100
extra fee for Layout in different format.
Do not undertake Drivers Licence, Marriage Certificate or Birth Certificate translation. Please do not ask for quote.

Cancellation Policy Cancellation must be in writing.  

50% of total pre-booked fee applied for on-site job cancelled within 24 business hours of appointment time.  
25% of total pre-booked fee applied for on-site job cancelled within 48 business hours of appointment time
