The following Beatles songs, unreleased by the group before Anthology, were recorded by other artists:
The "Get Back sessions" takes weren't numbered, so they cannot be identified
The "undressed versions" of The Long And Winding Road and I Me Mine are the original recordings The Beatles made. Later, Phil Spector "dressed" them with orchestral overdubs (and extending I Me Mine by editing) for the album Let It Be.
The chronological order, followed fairly well on the first Anthologies
(except I'm Down on A2), here is completely scrambled. However,
the tracks are grouped in "blocks": White Album outtakes (disc 1),
Get Back/Let It Be sessions (disc 2, tracks 1-12),
Abbey Road outtakes (disc 2, tracks 13-23).
Exceptions are Let It Be and
All Things Must Pass.
