Most of the songs are in fact mock stereo. Only the Magical Mystery
Tour tracks (The Fool On The Hill,
Your Mother Should Know and Blue Jay Way) are in true stereo.
It seems that Odeon hadn't got at that time the stereo masters of the other tracks,
released only on (mono) singles.
(Note: This is related to the original release - I don't know
if later releases were improved, as EMI-Odeon got the stereo masters)
Penny Lane has a strange edit: the line "in summer" was cut out.
This is not found on any other album.
I Call Your Name sounds very dirty and slower, compared to the
Past Masters version.
This album was also released in Argentina and Spain, with the title Per Siempre.
