Description:

This album was conceived, like A Hard Day's Night as a companion to the film of the same name. Like AHDN, Side 1 brings the songs featured on the film and Side 2, new songs that didn't make it to the movie.
For the first time, George had two of his own songs on an album (I Need You and You Like Me Too Much).
This was the last time The Beatles recorded covers (Act Naturally and Dizzy Miss Lizzy).

International differences:

This album was not released in Brazil during the Beatles' era, although the soundtrack songs (on side 1) appeared on the album Help! - Trilha Sonora do Filme "Socorro".

The credits for musicians on the back cover were in English, although the photographer (Robert Freeman) and producer (George Martin) credits were translated.
