This is an American compilation, by Capitol. It joins tracks previously unreleased on Capitol albums: two songs from A Hard Day's Night (issued by United Artists) and most tracks from singles issued between 1966 and 1969 that aren't on albums.
I consider it a sequel of A Collection of Beatles Oldies . In fact, these two albums gather most of the single-only tracks and were an important source in the pre-CD era.
