For his solo CD's, synthesizers have been the main instruments behind the big sounds most of the time.

His talents on other instruments, including vocals, are more prevalent on albums with his rock band - named
Creatures of Habit.  The other instruments are bass, drums, percussion, and (acoustic) guitars.

In response to the difficulties of having his music heard, Uku founded "Meri Music" as a record label.

The first release is entitled "Synthphonies".  This album is entirely instrumental, and is based on the premise of modernist synthesized symphonic music with piano and percussion.

"Synthphonies", ultimately, it is really "sonically visual" music.  Dim the lights, raise the volume, and let your imagination take over.

The second release is diectly related to "Synthphonies".  An hour long radio interview on host Jeff Crawford's "Home Studio" show on KUOP-FM (Stockton, CA) was recorded.  This coast to coast telephone interview featured the first half (5 songs) of "Synthphonies" along with 30+ minutes of discussion.

The third release is entitled "Fabric of Space".  All sounds by synthesizers, the textures, dynamics and material has been enjoyed as foreground and background music - many moods and scenarios are created with visually aureal stimulations.

The latest release is "idioSYNcrasies".  It is a follow up to "Fabric of Space".  In conception, this is improvised synthesizer music that it is "sonically visual".
