" RADIO AIRPLAY: Two California FM radio stations affiliated with National Public Radio have played selections from Synthphonies "on the air" around the time when the album was released. RADIO INTERVIEW: an hour long show was dedicated to "Synthphonies", with half being music and the other half being discussion between Uku Meri and host Jeff Crawford on KUOP-FM.

(the "P" is silent!) Description:Songs are layered (with the exception of the opening track) with many instruments - real and "virtual". Piano driven symphonically synthesized post-modern-classical with progressive rock and electronic roots. For those interested in "the process": The first "half" (5 songs) were arranged by MIDI directly into the computer, while the second "half" (last three selections) were rejuvinated from 8-track half-inch analog tape.
