this bud's for me - 26/08/02 if you'll take a look, all the updates now have titles, and the date is in a D/M/Y fashion. the titles will be derived from whatever the hell i feel like them being derived from. it could be a song lyric (as with this one) or my MSN name at the time, or just whatever. yeah. i also added some stuff to the about me section and i think i did something else, but i cant think of it. maybe you can figure it out. no wait i know, i added little links at the side of the updates and history page so you can go to a certain point in time in the updates easily. okay its pretty useless but yeah. shut up. and just one more thing. i love my scroll bars. the one on the pages like this and the ones like in a feature page. umm... i guess thats it. walk away me boys - 25/08/02 umm.. all i did was rewrite the intro section. well most of it anyways. the main purpose of this was to stress the importance of downloading the fonts *wink wink*. ummm... i suppose i could do more but i just really dont feel like it. you can change the channel, but it doesnt change the end - 24/08/02 jesus i update a lot recently. guess i have too much time in the summer. anyways, all i did was i redid the template for all of the features and in addition to that, i added another feature about self-destruction because i felt like it. and if you dont like it you can go stick it in your ear, or other old over used phrases that have lost all meaning. its just a plea for peace - 23/08/02 i just went out and bought myself this CD yesterday called Plea for Peace: Take Action volume 2. its a double CD and it only cost me like 15 bucks and its also got abunch of enhanced stuff including a full book about suicide in a pdf file for free. not only that, 5% of the proceeds go to the National Hopeline Network (1-800-SUICIDE). heres what the booklet says about the hopeline: "As we believe it is better to have a mad friend than a dead friend, don't keep a secret... tell the person on the other end of 1-800-SUICIDE. The will help you to help your friend and tell you where the resources are in your community". From what i can tell though, this service is only available in the states, but im not sure. anyways, go pick it up! its cheap, and its good, and its for a good cause. If your into punk music go get it. its got bands like Anti-Flag, Snapcase, The Movielife, Tsunami Bomb, local boys Moneen, and a pile of others. cmon! 2 cds for 15 bucks! 15 bucks canadian! plus a free book! this changes everything - 22/08/02 well i change everything anyways. the index page has been changed and replaced, with the old site map gone and the old entry page gone, and no more frames. also, with then new index page, if you refresh it a few times the background will change, and the title will to, but the title wont if you use the continue.to/die domain, you have to use the long domain. and i added titles to every other page too, if you want to check those out to, but remember the titles will only show if you use the long domain. umm, i also deleted a lot of things that werent done by me, cuz this is MY site. all me from now on. well pretty much anyways. i rewrote the thanks page, cuz i felt like it, and also fixed various broken links on this page, but theres probably still more. i think thats all i did. and download these fonts and but them in the fonts folder for best site viewing. you need the fonts. DOWNLOAD THEM. theres two now instead of just the one the stuff dreams are made of - 20/08/02 well i know i need to replace the sitemap. and im going to remove stuff that isnt by me too, so i figured id take out two birds with one stone. i'm playing around with what i'll do with the new sitemap, and im thinking i'll go with this. but i dont know yet. and all the things that arent listed on there, such as the gamelinks and game downloads pages are going to go. and the logos page too. and the message board. but yeah. i dont know yet. im indecisive. also if i use this, im going to ditch the frames, and the title and everything. they dont really matter anyways. i also made a 404 error page but not before i found out that i cant use it because this server wont support it. damn. scanner frenzy - 19/08/02 i scanned so much stuff! but i didnt even finish!! anyways, theres TONS of stuff added to the images section (and i moved it too) and i also added some pictures to the pictures of me section!! wow!! its an update frenzy!! okay, and in other news i had a sub today. it was good. i like subs. but other than that, tons of pictures! wow! ok thats it Pobody's Nerfect - 18/08/02 i didnt really do much today, all i did was rewrite the about me section, cuz i felt like it, and when i first wrote it i was in a bad mood and it showed. so yeah, i rewrote it. i think i did something else too... but i honestly cant remember. oh yeah, i started to tinker with the features section, renaming it and taking out some stuff that isnt mine, but i havent finished it, so im not putting it up yet. and i really, really want to redo the template for the features, but i just don't know what to do. also, on monday im going to my dads office to scan stuff, so ill probably add a whole pile of shit tuesday night, cuz i work monday night. but hey maybe ill do it monday night anyways! okay thats it. sunburns and honour rolls - 17/08/02 okay, i just got back from wasaga beach a while ago, and im all sore and sunburnt and things like that. i also got my report card today (finally) which was both good and bad. good cuz i made honour roll. bad cuz i cant believe how low my leisure gym mark was. fuck, its leisure gym. i deserved a higher mark then what i got. im pissed off about that. but anyways, other than those sorts of things, i actually did something web-site related! i changed the template for the world youth day journals because they were just plain ugly. same with most of (all) the other pages in the features section. i figure they need to be fixed up, cuz the features section is basically where all the content is. i'll do that soon. but i gotta to the sitemap still. stupid sitemap. i need to get to a scanner. when i get to one, and i do the sitemap, with it i'll have a pile of pictures to stick into the images section and then ill take out all the stuff in there that isnt by me. my aim is to make everything on this site made entirely by me. but thats kind of going to be a slow process. first ill take care of the images, then after that all there really is is the games, but those dont matter anyways. i think ill leave them. but yeah, i think im done now. my neck hurts. templatolypse now - 14/08/02 i've finished redoing all the other pages in the same format (i think) and i just realized that the stupid sounds page doesnt work. stupid sounds page. umm... what else did i do... i added to the pictures of me page, just cuz i realized it was missing some things that were on the old one, and i also added to the links page and... i probably did some more stuff. everything looks different now anyways, except the sitemap, and the punk band logos part, cuz im just going to leave that how it is. but as soon as i get the new sitemap done, everything will have been changed. im still working on the site map, i havent really done much recently, but this is kind of what it looks like. sort of. but theres going to be a lot more to it than that. thats it for the present time. beauty, now available in yellow - 13/08/02 bickety-bam! notice anything different? look at the screen... Figure it out yet? no? okay thats kind of sad then. if you didnt figure it out, i changed colours and stuff and made this page prettier. also, in addition to this page i also did the about me page in the same fashion as this page. and not only that... i also made a history page of all the really old updates. thats all ive done for now... but there will be more later, such as applying this template to more pages, redoing the sitemap, uploading all the images i havent uploaded yet... and anything else that needs fixing. till then, toodles. okay, after some further tinkering, i've redone the template for almost every page now, theres just a few left, and then the site map to do still then i'll have a whole new look type of thing. toodles again. the beginning of history - 03/08/02 geez this updates page is long. i'll probably take all the stuff thats over a month old and move it into a new page, history or something. it just makes more sense. anyways, i changed the entry page, and now its the new title of my site, which is gonna be no ace no face no trump. thats a euchre reference if you didnt catch that. although my site has absolutely nothing to do with euchre, its just a good game. im also working on a new site map, which you can see the progress of here but its quite a ways away from being done. I also made a main site for the world youth day journals as well as finishing the last journal. i've also been playing around with the idea of changing most of the fonts throughout the page, using some one i got at fontalicious.com but they don't seem to look right. anyways, its just an idea. also, my brother made a poster for a concert of his thats coming up soon, and when i looked at it, IT HAS MY DAMN PICTURES ON IT FROM WHEN I WAS LITTLE!!! anyways, if you wanna get a nice laugh out of it i uploaded the picture, so look at it. thats it for now. renovate this - 01/08/02 I've started site renovations. its being moved from the geocities server to this new one i've found called brinkster. It seems pretty promising. No stupid redirect breaking things. So now only use the continue.to/die link, because im not going to be renovating the geocities one. Stupid geocities won't let me do the stuff i want to do. Okay, there will be NO updates for a little bit, other than just me fixing things, and adding stupid little effects just to make it pretty. If anything does get updated, it'll be that i'll finish my world youth day journal thingy and possibly make page for just all the WYD pages. Other than that, just making everythig work again, which is mostly uploading everything that i haven't uploaded yet. Okay, thats it. |
