Hedva Amrani

Hedva Amrani is now living in Los-Angeles, but she used to live in Israel at the time the contest first began.
She was a contestant in the very first "Kdam" in 1978 with the song "Belev echad" (In One Heart) which came first together with "A-Ba-Ni-Bi". Izhar Cohen and "A-Ba-Ni-Bi" finally flew to France, and Amrani stayed at home.
Hedva came back in 1979 with "Shneinoo Yachad" (Both Of Us Together) and reached third place. Her last attempt was in 1981 with "Bo Elay" (Come To Me). who reached the ninth position.
Since there is a law from 1981 saying that only Israeli citizents living in Israel can participate in the "Kdam", Hedva could not participate again.
