A Beautiful Place to Live is our most experimental track to date. It veers between an industrial-sounding monolith riff and melodic groove. Lyrically, the essential message is 'it's not where you're from it's where you're at': "The door's unlocked but you can't break the habit"
Of the four tracks on our four song demo, this is the one we're probably least
pleased with - but that's the nature of demos. You have to decide to take one
approach in the studio, and then if it doesn't work you don't have time to go
back and change it. Nonetheless, it's still a good song, but I think we'd have
liked it to sound a bit more powerful.
