I was born in 1956 in Belgium. The same country as one of my musical
idols - Django Reinhardt. I started playing guitar at 16 and soon after was
influenced by the playing of Chet Atkins, Merle Travis, Doc Watson,
Leo Kottke, Bruce Cockburn, Lightnin' Hopkins, and a variety of many other
guitarists and non guitarists. Over the years I have arranged about 200 songs,
and composed 15 original guitar pieces. I am, for the most part an enthusiastic
amature, but I have taught guitar full-time, still give the occassional
private lesson, and have done some commercial studio recording work. My only
commercial recording that I am proud of was a guitar instrumental I wrote for
a radio/TV commercial for "Mentholatum Deep Cold" a few years back. I liked
it enough that I decided to turn it into a complete piece. I may put it up on
my page in the future. In the future I would like to put out an independent
CD of my better compositions and a few of my arrangements.
