The Prodigy: Maxim, Leeroy, Liam and Keith

Picture

The Prodigy are a British band set up by Liam Howlett, Keith Flint, Keeti (Maxim), and Leeroy. Liam is the keyboards man, Maxim, the MC with Keith and Leeroy as (mainly) dancers.  The Prodigy have changed considerably since the early days of Rave  and dance and Keith Flint has added additional vocals to make the band much more punky.  They prefer to be known as Electronic Punks, and have had worldwide success with their latest album, "The Fat of the Land"

``Music for the Jilted Generation" is just as good.  By this stage, the Prodigy were breaking their Rave ties, by producing a much harder rythmn.  Tracks like 'Poison', 'Fastlane', 'One Love' and 'No good - (start the dance)' are still played in clubs.  'No good' had most appeal to dance music lovers, and was subsequently a UK chart hit.

.This isn't their only album, though.  Their debut, "The Prodigy Experience" was spawned from the Rave generation and includes tunes like 'Out of Space' and mixes of 'Charly', 'Fire' and 'Your  Love'.  The best track on the album 'Hyperspeed'. was never released as a single, but is still played in some clubs.
