Live ranks up as one of my all-time favourite bands. This is also a lot to do with the strength of their live show. They're very aptly named. I've seen them three times so far in concert, once at a free outdoor show that wasn't all that great because it was too crowded. The next time was at the Molson Centre in January 2000 and it was incredible. And in August 2000 I saw them with the Counting Crows at the Molson Centre in an amazing show. The melodies, vocals, and poetic lyrics are my favourite things about Live. I must have listened to each of their albums about a zillion times and I think I love them all the more each time I hear them. I'd be hard-pressed to name a favourite Live song. Selling the Drama, Lightning Crashes, Overcome, and Run To The Water are all finalists but I could just as easily named a dozen others.
