Fronted by two theatrical vocalists, who would eventually dominate the
popular music charts, Genesis consisted of several outstanding musicians who would create very interesting
art-rock! Peter Gabriel would leave after The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway and Phil Collins
would assume the mantle on the magnificent A Trick Of The Tail! Otherwise, guitarist Steve Hackett,
bass guitarist Michael Rutherford and keyboardist Tony Banks would remain in the group for a little while! Steve
Hackett left after The Wind & The Wuthering and the band became a successful pop-trio!
