Notes: Written at Eric Clapton's house. Derek Taylor contributed some lines: You are what you eat, was the title of a film (by friends Alan Pariser and Barrt Feinstein) he had just seen. Actually based on a real box of Macintosh's Good News Chocolates. Savoy Truffle, Creme Tangerine, Montelimart, Ginger Sling, and Coffe Desert are all genuine names.

Notes: Mal Evans helped with band's identity. Idea inspired by Paul wearing a disguise in France. Mal suggested Salt and Pepper. Idea of a reprise was late in the game from Neil Aspinall, and they decided to segue the tracks. Take-up track was "Couldn't really be any other."

Notes: Written in NY 13 May 68, when announcing the formation of Apple. (Another source says Jun 68 in US.) About a fan creeping in and opening the door for others. Much was stolen. "Quit the piloce department," inspired by an LA cab driver: Eugene Quits. "Monday's on the phone..." about neighbors calling the cops about the breakin.
