Notes: "Turn off your mind, relax and float downstream" from Tim Leary's "The Psychedelic Experience" taken from the "Tibetan Book oft he dead." Title is a Ringoism, supposedly to take the "edge off." Tape loops were Paul's, using five machines; he brought them over in a bag. First song of Revolver recorded. Working title: "Mark 1" (was first song on album recoded) then "the Void." Originally wanted 4000 monks, then to sound like 1000 monks.
