Tamia & Grant are profiled in the new issue of US magazine (February 2000 issue). Many celebrity weddings of 1999 are profiled; Tamia & Grant on page 61. The picture provided is the official wedding picture of Grant & Tamia which appeared on the cover of Jet magazine in September 1999. The article reads:

Detroit Pistons superstar Grant Hill, 26, met his wife, 24-year-old R&B diva Tamia, three years ago at a singing contest in the Motor City, where she was judging the talent and he was judging her. "I kind of knew she was the one," said Hill, who was introduced to Tamia by a mutual friend, singer Anita Baker. The twosome sealed the deal in a garden ceremony at the Green Crest Manor in Battle Creek, Mich., on July 24, where 220 guests turned out to see the bride adorned in an ivory satin gown by Vera Wang. Tamia had 30 trees planted and a small bridge constructed on the property prior to the big day so it would be "beautiful from every angle," she says. Before the couple set off for a honeymoon at the Four Seasons Resort in Bali, the wedding party ate beef Wellington and cedar-roasted salmon. "We also had vanilla cake and banana creme." says Tamia. "We only got a little piece, the piece that we fed each other. If I'd known that was the only piece we'd get, I would have gotten a bigger cake."

It seems that Tamia's new album on Elektra will be released within the first 3 months of 2000. Below are some outtakes from the chat session:

Kimberly Collins asks Congratulations Grant on your marriage to Tamia! I know it's a little soon but do you have plans to start a family in the near future?
Grant Hill says, Somewhere down the line. I think right now, we're just going to enjoy being married. And if we want to play with kids, we have plenty of friends with children, and we can play with them.

Kimberly Collins asks I just loved Tamia's album, when will she be releasing a new one? I'm looking forward to it!
Grant Hill says, She's very excited about her new album and I'm very excited about her new album. It should be out at the beginning of the year, under her new record label, Elektra Records.

Grant Hill says, Thanks for your comments about tamia. I too think she's the most beautiful woman on Earth.

Hakeem Adams asks Grant, has Tamia told you anything about her new album? Like a release date perhaps?
Grant Hill says, Yes, an exact date hasn't been set, but she has all ready cut several new songs for the album, which will be released sometime in the first three months of 2000.

Letrice Johnson asks Grant, what can you tell me about Tamia's new album?

So Tamia is very excited about the Album, the music, the help she's getting from Sylvia and the re-launching of her career in the year 2000. She is working with some of the hottest young producers to make this the best album ever.

tamia fan asks Do you know if Tamia will be collaborating with any other artists on her upcoming album? I love u Grant!

"It shows the two of them in what looks like a castle(?) Throughout the video they leave little notes for each other (like lovers would do) and there is scenes with the two of them together. It is a very nice video and a very sweet song. Tamia is wearing a pretty blue dress in one scene, with her hair up and curly. In another scene she is wearing a silver(?) top with a skirt.
