The New

Job

Jill and I have both found employment in the great state of New Jersey. I am currently still working for Dow Jones while Jill has just started a job at Happy World. No, it is not an amusement park, it is a day care center / preschool. I was able to get a couple of pictures of Dow Jones since the last issue. The picture above on the left is of the plant where I work. The picture above on the right is of the Dow Jones campus here in New Jersey. The campus is the national headquarters. All of the employee relations, accounting, and such are taken care of in one of the three buildings in the picture. They are currently building a fourth building on the campus directly behind the plant that I work in. You can't really see it in the picture, but it is about the size of the one in the middle in the top right picture. Mom and Dad Brighton had a chance to tour the printing plant that I work in during their trip out here. Unfortunately, the plant was closed so they didn't get to see the operation in progress. Jill's job seems to be going good and I am going to turn this over to her so she can tell everyone about it.

Let's see...what can I tell you about my job? As Bob said, I am working at a day care center. At this point, I work from 4pm to 7pm Monday through Friday. It's not much in the money department, but it gets me out of the house for awhile every day. I work in the junior infant room. At this point, we have five babies that are all between the ages of 2 to 6 months old. It's a great age, because they are not crawling yet. The day care that I am working in has about two hundred kids and at least 60 staff members. I have been told that in the fall, they actually have a kindergarten class. I may be able to move into actual teaching at that point. Right now, I am just waiting for a full time position to open up. And of course I am still working on finding a teaching job for the fall. I'll keep everyone updated!

with his mouth. Anytime he sees a fly in the house, he sits down and watches it. Before long, he is tracking the thing all over the house. He waits for the perfect opportunity and when it comes, he jumps in the air and eats it. What a truly amazing (yet disgusting) pet!

This space is going to be reserved for any interesting stories about the animals that do so much for us. (Besides the fact that Jill and I seem to have this incredible surplus of pictures of the dog). Our story for this month is about Bear.

After the move to New Jersey, Bear took a little

while to adjust to his new surroundings. He is back to his normal self, barking at everyone that walks by and chasing after other dogs. He has also found himself a new hobby that is beneficial to his masters. He just learned that he can catch flies in mid air
