Just in case you're a total retard, or where under a rock in the spring of 1999, MegadetH's new song "Crush 'Em" from the album RISK was on the Universal Soldier: The Return soundtrack. There's a few other notable songs on here. One is Anthrax's remix of Fueled (original on "Stomp 442") and there's a new Ministry song on here which I still haven't listened to yet. There's also a cover of "Crazy Train" which sounds pretty decent. Everything else pretty much sucks, especially Fear Factory. But anyway, about MegadetH...
When I first heard this song my first thought was, "Nine Inch MegadetH." Then when the bass line found its way into the song, I thought, "Nine Inch Megadeth disco." It's a little bit hard to believe this is MegadetH doing this song. I thought it was EXTREMELY cheesy.. especially with the chorus chanting "Crush 'Em" over and over. I didn't especially care for the "rap" section either (it sounds just like crossover Anthrax or Rage Against the Machine to me). I still don't particularly like this song, but for a time it grew one me. Maybe it's just because I was so hungry for new MegadetH.
