Boo Hoo Clapping Song 97' - Caburetor Dung (1998)(real audio)

Caburetor Dung at their finest moment! Die mainstream sissy arsed bands!

Malaysia's premier metal band re-structuring a metal classic.

Paranoid - FTG (1999)(real audio)

Re-working Sabbath's classic. Awesome.

Me - Butterfingers (1996)(real audio)

The best alternative rock band in Malaysia. No sissy style. Just full-on rock! Great drumming.

Royal Jelly - Butterfingers (1996)(real audio)

A trashing ballad (maybe not...). Eat your hearts, crappy boy bands.

The Chemistry (between us) - Butterfingers (1999)(real audio)

A classic. Mixing traditional style with effects all over it. This rocks. And kick ass! Catch what Emmet's singing?

Doomsday Out - Butterfingers (1999)(real audio)

A slow-burner.. and then it kicks right in your face. Brilliant. "I'm sick and tired of this life..." Are you? I do.

R n R (rock & radical) - Butterfingers (1999)(real audio)

Killer riffs. This song is so infectious that I begin to wonder what the heck the radio stations are doing? Instead of supporting local acts, they are supporting sissy boy bands. Damn.

A Chinese track - Chong Yang(1998)(real audio)

From Malaysia's greatest Chinese DIY record (Ji Duan Fen Zi, get it at Victoria or mail-order through huanghuo@yahoo.com, don't get it at the rip-off centre, Tower Records). Independent, underground and unsigned, Chong Yang sounded like a cross of U2 and My Bloody Valentine mixed with the Cure. Much better than those lazy-arsed Chinese songs played on radios.

A Chinese track - Two Face (1998)(real audio)

Amazing melodies. Simple arrangements. Awesome. It's like Faye Wong fronting the mighty Coctuea Twins. One of the best Chinese songs i've heard for a long time.

A Chinese track - Moxuan (1998)(real audio)

New-Age metal aka Pimp Rock (??) followers. Chinese resurrection of Korn and Deftones. Simply rocking. No, you know why the Chinese music industry is run by a bunch of whining men in suits.. coz they got no taste. Hail Korn.. opps.. Moxuan.

A Chinese track - Moxuan (1998)(real audio)

Korn has "Shoots And Ladders". Moxuan has this. Nursery-rhymes alert!!!!

True Love - Nita (1997)(real audio)

I'm going to get stoned for putting this here. Well, I don't give a toss. Coz this song rocks.. killer chorus.. and she's a babe. Where is she now?

Gremmie Out Of Control - Pearl Jam (1996)(real audio)

Pearl Jam's cool take of an obscure 1964 vinyl. Taken from "Music For Our Mother Ocean" compilation.

Surfin' USA - Pennywise (1996)(real audio)

A punkish blast through the Beach Boys classic. Magnificent. Also taken from "Music For Our Mother Ocean" compilation.

R*** Me (live) - Nirvana (1999)(real audio)

A live take from 25th September 1993 show of Saturday Night Life. The Malaysian cover didn't even list down the title of this song. Why? Rape me? Tossers.. Taken from "SNL 25 vol. 25"

Been There Done That - Dr. Dre (1999)(real audio)

Another live take from Saturday Night Life (26th October 1996). The ultimate gangsta-rapper. "You got guns?.. " This is also the guy who took Snoop Dogg and Enimem to the top. Also taken from "SNL 25 vol. 25"

All Together Now (Indie Rock Mix) - The Farm (1991)(real audio)

This is a classic Madchester-era song. The indie band's crowning glory. Simply ice-cool. Taken from the rare US "All Together Now" single.

Life In A Northern Town - The Dream Academy (1985)(real audio)

An instant classic in my eyes. Supersmooth 80's track. A Malaysian advert ripped-off the chorus and so was Sash!. I communicate well with this song... coz I live in a northern town too... :). A rare moment of inspiration.

Support RealAudio. Down with MP3.
