"Hours" is a great album, it just takes more than a few listens to get the feel. I think that it draws from his association with John Lennon and is the typre of thing Lennon would be doing now had he lived. Best song would have to be "7 Days", very personal and back-to-basics, which is really the only place music can go today. Thanks for a good site. |

Funny how much Marilyn Manson resembles Bowie in so many ways (artwork, lyrics, make up and even style, although heavier) Give the man credit though, at least he chose to emulate a legend. I was just wondering how easily David gave up his rathe rampant cocaine habit from all those years ago? Tips would be quite useful. My great oncle owns every cd of db and every movie exept Labyrinth. He introduced me into the wonderful world of BOWIE, and I'm so grateful! My first CD was Eart hl i ngs, which totally blew e away!! He has the SEXIEST VOICE! Then, I was talking to my pal, Meg, and she showed me the movie LABYRINTH. He has the TIGHTEST PANTS in that movie. Very sexy! I instantly went looking for a copy of my own, only to find that it is out of print. **** it ll!! But I did buy the soundtrack and enjoy listening to it, almost everyday. I now own most of his CD's and am determined to get them all. My friends think I'm crazy for being MADLY IN LOVE with David, but how can I help it? He is the prettiest man I've ver seen. Because of him, I've started taking guitar. I've now been playing the violin for three years, and the piano for ten. I can't wait for his new album, hours....., and the re-release of Labyrinth in Fall. He is a GOD to me, and I'm happy that he's till going strong at 52.
