Blue Raspberry
A killer songstress who can hold her own with her voice, Blue Raspberry has always been a back-up stylist who could steal the spotlight from any Clansmen on a track. Check out "Rainy Dayz" off of Raekwon's Only Built 4 Cuban Linx... - she obviously isn't some bullshit R&B clone singer. She mysteriously adds a melodic flavor to the harsh realities of the world, almost making all that stuff bearable. A few rumors have been circulated about Blue Raspberry havin her own album come out sometime in 1999, and I think it would be a welcome revelation in the R&B realm. No doubt she can bring an ounce of truth into the pounds and mounds of bullshit flowin out there right now.
