“Chris I am so happy to see you!” Andrea said as she gave him a kiss. “Happy anniversary baby, one year can you believe it?”
“I know I can’t believe we have been together that long. And I cherish every moment we have together.” Chris replied as he took Andrea in his arms and gave her a passion filled hug like he usually did.
The two got into his red Saturn Coupe and drove off towards a fancy restaurant. As they were driving Andrea was beginning to believe that their relationship was fine, maybe he had just become more pre-occupied with work and he did really still care for her. Yes she thought to herself I had been wrong all along everything is fine. Over dinner the conversation was great, he seemed very interested in what was going on in her life and she like always was staring right into his beautiful brown eyes. Then Chris started acting weird.
“Andrea am I everything you need and want in a relationship?”
“Chris what do you mean? I have been with you for a year, isn’t that enough to prove to you that you are what I want and need?”
“I don’t know. Maybe we should just take some time apart from each other.”
“You brought me here to tell me it was over?”
“Um yeah I guess so.”
“On our one year anniversary? Yep my mom was right when she told me that you were a real class act."
“I’m really sorry I just need some space right now.”
“Okay Chris I’ll let you have your space. Actually I’ll leave you right now.” Andrea got up from the table and walked out the door.
Ding Dong Justin ran to answer the door because he knew that it was his beautiful girlfriend Melissa.
“Hey Baby you look great like usual” Justin said as he looked deep into Melissa’s eyes.
“Thank you and you look amazing as usual.” Melissa said as she gave him a little peck on the cheek.
Justin took Melissa by the hand and led her into the dining room. He had set the table with only candle light to make it more romantic. He pulled out Melissa’s chair and he was being a true gentleman. Just as Melissa sat down he heard the oven buzzer go off, he told Melissa that he would be right back and he walked off into the kitchen. When he came back out he had their meal in his hands.
“Wow Justin that looks great!”
“Thanks, I knew it was your favourite so I spent all day making sure it would be perfect.”
“You did all that for me?”
“Yes why wouldn’t I? You are the best thing that has ever come into my life.”
“Do you really mean that?”
“Yes I do, I really care a lot about you.” Just as he said that his doorbell rang again.
Justin didn’t want to interrupt their romantic evening but he just had to know who was at the door. When he opened it a beautiful young lady about his age threw her arms around him and started kissing his neck.
“Justin baby would you like to tell me who this girl is?”
“Um well we went out last year before I met you, and…”
“Well are you going to spend the night hugging her or are we going to eat our romantic dinner?”
“Yes Melissa I want to spend the rest of the night with you, so if you will excuse us Christina we have a dinner to eat.”
Justin closed the door and walked back to the table where Melissa was already sitting. He could see that she was upset and he could not blame her.
“Melissa let me explain. You see…”
Melissa interrupted him by cutting in.
“Justin I don’t care what is written in your history as long as you’re here with me!”
It was a normal night for Jillian and Brian they had decided to go to their favourite club called Angel. When they got there the DJ was playing ‘How Deep is Your Love for Me’ by Dru Hill and Jillian couldn’t help but pull Brian out onto the dance floor. As the couple danced Jillian noticed a tall handsome man across the room. She didn’t know why but she seemed to be drawn to him.
“Brian does that guy over there look familiar?” Jillian asked as she pointed towards the tall handsome man.
“Yeah that’s my cousin Kevin, I wonder what he is doing here.”
Kevin notices Brian and comes over to where Jillian and Brian are dancing.
“Kev what on earth are you doing here?”
“Well I was looking for you Bri. I mean I have been here for two days already and I have already ran into Nick, Howie and AJ. But I couldn’t seem to locate you.”
“Wow I wish you would have called to let me know that you were coming back, I’ve missed you.”
“Well Bri I have missed you too but I was really busy and I didn’t know I was coming back until three days ago.” Kevin said as he turned and looked at Jillian. “Um Brian why have you not introduced me to your lovely girlfriend?”
“Oh I’m sorry this is the lovely and wonderful Jillian, we have been together for eight wonderful months.”
“Hello Jillian it is a pleasure to meet you.”
“No it is all my pleasure if you are anything like Brian then you are one of the best men God has ever created.”
Melissa and Howie were holding each other tight during the song ‘Truly Madly Deeply’ by Savage Garden. This was the first song that they ever danced to. Howie whispered in Melissa’s ear that he had something very important to tell her. When the song was over he led her to a private table outside of the club Angel.
“Melissa I want to tell you something that has been on my mind for quite a while now okay?”
“Sure honey I am always here to listen to what you have to say.”
“Well I want you to know that I LOVE YOU!”
Melissa was shocked and didn’t know what to say. By Howie saying this she had now become confused, she didn’t know how she felt about him anymore. She used to think that the two of them were going to get married but now she didn’t even know if they would still be together for another week.
“Well do you have anything to say back to me Melissa?”
“Um no not right at this moment.”
She got up and ran inside she was too confused to even talk to Howie right now. She left him just standing out there completely baffled with what had gone wrong.
