Andrea walked into the club and ran into Jillian and Brian. She was introduced to Kevin and they all started talking.
“Andrea where is Chris?”
“Well if you walk down the street to that really fancy restaurant you will probably see him sitting in the first booth on the right.”
“What happened he didn’t break up with you today on your one year anniversary did he?” Jillian asked as she looked at Andrea.
“Yeah he did and you know what maybe it was for the best, I mean we had not been talking for the past month and… whatever it really doesn’t matter because now I am single.”
Jillian didn’t know how to reply to that so she grabbed Andrea and pulled her out on the dance floor because the song ‘Dancing Queen’ came on. As they were dancing Andrea was beginning to feel better about herself. When the song was over Andrea turned around and noticed a really good looking guy was standing right behind her. He whispered to her “The way you body swayed as I watched you from behind got me so excited. I am sorry if you find that kind of forward but it’s the truth.”
“Well thanks I really don’t know what to say after a comment like that. But I have to tell you that it is refreshing to know that something I do is appreciated.”
“What is that supposed to mean?”
“Well I just got dumped on my one year anniversary, he was such a jerk. But why am I telling you this without even knowing your name?”
“My name is AJ and I just want to let you know that honey he’s nothing like me, because if I had someone like you I’d never break your heart.”
“Well AJ my name is Andrea in case you were wondering and I must tell you that you’ve got something so incredible in my eyes. I can’t quite tell you what it is but man I am so attracted to you.”
After Justin and Melissa had finished their dinner they went downstairs so Justin could put part two of his plan into action. Justin walked over to the fireplace and built a nice fire and told Melissa to have a seat on the couch. Justin turned down the lights and put in the movie he had rented. He made sure Melissa would like it and he also made sure it was romantic. The movie he picked was ‘William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet’.
“Justin I love this movie.”
“I know that is why I picked it. I want to make you as comfortable as possible tonight.”
“Why is that?”
“Because if it isn’t asking too much I would like for you to stay the night.”
“I would love to. Justin you make me feel so comfortable that I know you wouldn’t try anything I didn’t like.”
“Of course not you mean the world to me and I never want to lose you.”
“Justin I don’t want to lose you either.”
“I will never leave you baby.”
“Justin I used to think that dreams were meant for sentimental fools, but you have made all of my dreams come true.”
“Melissa I just want you to know that I feel that it’s not far now from paradise at least it’s not for me.”
Justin and Melissa just looked at each other and began to engage in passionate kisses.
“Hey Brian darlin’ do you know who that guy is that is talking to Andrea?”
“Yeah that is one of my best buds AJ! Why?”
“Well he and Andrea seem to be getting along really well don’t you think?”
“Well AJ always seems to go for the girls that are sweet and gorgeous like Andrea.”
“You think that she is gorgeous?”
“Yes does that bother you?”
“No I was just wondering. You know Brian you have never told me that I am gorgeous or beautiful in words.”
“I haven’t? Well let me tell you now that I think you are the most beautiful woman in the world and I wouldn’t want to spend my time with anyone else.”
“Ah Brian thank you so much I knew that you were the sweetest guy I have ever met!”
Jillian took Brian by the hand and took him to a secluded table in the back corner of the club. When they sat down at the table Brian noticed Howie standing outside the window all by himself.
“Jillian my beautiful girlfriend I am just going to go outside for a moment to see why Howie is standing outside by himself.”
“Okay I’ll sit here and wait for you to return. But if I am not here when you come back I am probably out on the dance floor ok?”
“Yeah I’ll see you in a few minutes.”
As soon as Brian left Jillian noticed Kevin standing at the bar. Once again she found herself staring at him wanting to know more about him. She called him over and the two began to talk she was really drawn to him and she didn’t want Brian to be able to see that. When Brian came back in he told Jillian that he was going to take Howie home because he was really upset. Jillian always gave Brian a kiss before he left and she didn’t want him to think that anything was wrong so she gave him a kiss. She however didn’t want Kevin to go anywhere so she only gave him a peck on the cheek.
Melissa was at the door when Brian and Howie left, when she saw how she had hurt him she was totally beside herself. What had she gone and done she had broken the heart of the guy that she at one point wanted to spend her whole life with. She saw Jillian sitting in the corner with Kevin so she decided to go join them.
“Jillian I made a really big mistake.”
“Why what did you do or say?”
“No it was what I didn’t say!”
“What do you mean?”
“Howie told me that he loved me and I couldn’t say anything.”
“You mean that you don’t know if you like him anymore?”
“Well I think I do but…”
“Melissa but isn’t good. You need to go home and think about it because if you don’t like him anymore you better let him know.”
“I know but I can’t. I don’t want to lose him.”
“But if you don’t like him anymore it might be better if the two of you separated.”
“Jillian why does it feel like I’m losing control?”
“Melissa I don’t know what to tell you except that you need to think long and hard about the decision you want to make.”
With that being said Melissa walked out the door and sat at the picnic table outside to do some thinking.
