     After signing the contract with EMI.Slovak and Irons decided to 
leave  the band (they thought that they wouldn't be succesful with the 
them) and they joined to a band called "What is this?" because they had more trayectory.So the band had to look for a new guitarrist and 
drummer.  
     Antony and Flea contacted Cliff Martinez (drums) and Jack Sherman (guitar)  
     The album was called "The Red Hot Chili Peppers" it was produced by Andy Gill (Gang of Four's leader). This was a big mistake beacuse Gill 
couldn't show in the album all the true energy of the band.It was 
released on August 1984 ,the first videoclip was True Man Don't Kill 
Coyotes.  
    Two months after, tired of Kiedis and Flea, Sherman decided to left 
the band.This album was not very succeful.
