Salve a tutti! Hy all you Minds fans!
Eccoci finalmente con i risultati del quesito senz'altro divergente rispetto a quelli delle 2 precedenti puntate.
E', infatti, semplice, trovare canzoni memorabili dei NOSTRI; mentre risulta + difficile il contrario. ...e forse proprio per la peculiarità della scelta proposta - esempio di autocritica... pur nella passione conclamata - alcuni fans non hanno resistito ed hanno segnalato + songs (vero, Soren?).
D'obbligo una premessa: lungi da noi creare un clima condominiale, non si cercano discussioni! Non è possibile quando si ha a che fare con gli altrui tasti emozionali!
Chi scrive, ricevendo certe scelte, a volte sgranava gli occhi oppure emetteva flebili: "ehhh"?? ... ma, forse è questa la radice - o il bello - delle diversità individuali: la loro insondabilità!
Decidiamo, pertanto, di mettervi a conoscenza delle worst + votate e di concludere con una frase di Mino di Napoli (in un suo messaggio natalizio):
"...soprattutto ho capito, crescendo con la musica ...quanti colori ha il mondo e quanto belle siano le differenze".

Grazie al "mitico" che ha individuato "When spirits rise" come ouvertoure: ehy, nessuno c'era ancora arrivato... e grazie all'amico anglosassone, attraverso il quale, finalmente, abbiamo imparato cosa vuol dire: "basically"!

A CENTURY REFLEX

[End of 1999] Ehi Simplesouls! Nonostante la confusione cronologica intorno a noi regni sovrana - il XX secolo, o 2° mllennio dell'Era Cristiana, in realtà, si concluderà tra un anno, e precisamente il 31/12/2000 - avvertiamo, comunque, una sorta di limite da oltrepassare: "... this could be the great divide...". E nei cambiamenti c'è sempre una valigia, un contenitore di... tracce, di frammenti, che ci appartengono e sui quali riflettere, perché hanno toccato - nel bene o nel male - i nostri tasti emozionali. (Ciao Lionello!!!)
... e poi c'é la musica...
Così la proposta che segue ci aiuta a fare la valigia, in questo caso su un tema che ci sta a cuore e ci accomuna. Si tratta di... un percorso guidato di riflessione, che contemporaneamente aggiorna i nostri sondaggi e le nostre scelte (ecco perché si è optato per inserirla in questa pagina).
I quesiti che vi saranno sottoposti sono 4.
I primi 3 inducono ad attenta riflessione; l'ultimo, invece, si può considerare un po'... ehm, meno serio (ma non è bello mettere in valigia anche un po' di ironia - anche in questo sito dedicato ai nostri mitici?).

Prima puntata - SCELTA DEL MOTIVO DI OUVERTOURE PER UN MINDS' LIVE DEL 2000

Alcune note: la scelta, in questo caso è abbastanza ardua. Scegliete considerando l'importanza che riveste, in un concerto, il motivo di apertura: aumento graduale della tensione positiva - dato anche il tipo di melodia scelta, che, in genere, risulta cadenzata, quasi a simulare l'attesa - con conseguente... scoppio emozionale.
Poi: scegliete mettendo al bando i vincoli commerciali, che richiedono una canzone dell'album da lanciare. Scegliete oppure confermate altre celebri ouvertoures: i Simple, in questa opzione, ci hanno sempre saputo fare.

Hi all you Minds fans!
Finally, we have the first results for the third issue.
It's simple finding memorable Simple Minds' songs; but it's hard find something we don't like at all. ...and maybe it's because of this that some friends choose more than one song (uh, Soren?).
Just one important thing to say: nobody can discuss about personal choices, so... here there are, simply!
Finally some words by Mino from Napoli:
"...above all, I saw, growing up with my preferred music, how many colours music contains ...how many colours are in the world and how great is difference".

Hey Simplesouls! Despite the chronological confusion reigns supreme (the XX century, or 2° millennium of the Christian Era, really will end in one year, and precisely the 31/12/2000), we warn, however, a kind of limit to be overcome: "... this could be the great divide...". And in the changes there is always a suitcase, a container of... traces, of fragments, that belongs to us and on which we must reflect, because they have touched - in the good or in the evil - our emotional keys (Hy Lionello!!!).
... and then there is the music.
And the proposal that there follows helps do... the suitcase, in this case on a theme we are keen on and that unifies us. It is a driven run of reflection, that in a contemporary way adjourns our borings and our choises (that's why we chose to insert it in this page).
The questions that will be subjected to you will be 4.
The first three induce to an attentive reflection; the last, instead, could be considered a little bit... - ehm - less serious (but isn't beautiful to put some irony in the suitcase - also in the site dedicated to our mythicals?).

#1. Choice of the opening motive for a Minds' Live of the 2000

Any notes: the choice, in this case, is fairly arduous. You choose considering the importance that, in a concert, the opening passage holds: gradual increase of the positive tension - given also the type of selected melody, that generally results cadenced, almost to simulate the waiting - with consequent... emotional burst. Then choose without considering the commercial ties, that require a song of the album to launch. Choose or confirm other famous ouvertoures: the Simple, in this option, have always known how to do.
