Ben is living in Adelaide, Australia with his wife Frally and his 18-month old twins Louis and Gracie. He has recorded the song Lonely Christmas Eve for the soundtrack to the children's movie The Grinch, and is working on his second solo album (that's including Fear of Pop).

Fear of Pop

Fear of Pop is Ben Folds' solo project and is completely different from his work with BF5. Utilizing all manner of electronic sounds and samples, it still contains some unmistakably Folds-y melodies. It includes appearances by William Shatner, John Mark Painter of 'Fleming and John', and Ben's wife Frally Hynes. Volume 1 was released in America on November 17 1999 and here in Australia on the 23rd. You can find out about it and related free offers at the website here.
