To some, maybe even you, Eric Burdon is the embodiment of Rock-n-Roll. With his explosion onto the Rock-n-Roll scene in 1964, via his hard-edged vocals on House of the Rising Sun, Eric has proven to be an enigmatic, powerfully appealing musician with a large and loyal following.

i hate being a fan

The word fan, in it's present context, is derived from the more descriptive fanatic. The word fanatic is a bit strong, not to mention, unappealing. Rather, I consider myself an admirer of Eric Burdon, not only of the music he helped to create, but also of the man himself. Therefore, I will not refer to these pages as 'fan pages' but as informational, sometimes thought-provoking, resources that admirers of EVB can refer to in times of need.
