March 24, 2001.   This was our first show. It was in Kyle's basement and It was an insane success.  We organized it and had no idea what wqe were doing and everything went really smoothly. Lots of people told me this was one of the best shows they've ever been to. The bands playing, in order, were the Amberdexters, Soulful Anonymous, Asphyxia, 7 Day Weekend, and The SaddleHeathens. Asphyxia really made the crowd go crazy. We threw out some shirts to the crowd while we were playing (go to the merch page to see the shirts.).  When 7 day weekend was playing i believe what the lead singer said was, "dude, this is like the craziest show i've ever been to"
April 6, 2001.   This wasnt a full-fledged show. It was the school music assembly.  We only had 5 mins but it was for like 1000 people so it was crazy.  We played a medley of Carol of the Bells, Jonny B. Goode, Crazy Train, and Hitchin' a Ride. Eveyone said they loved it which was really surprising cuz all the other acts were a lot softer, (nothing worng witht that) like Dave Mathews Band and stuff. Oh and we got out of class all day.
April 7, 2001.  Shows starts at 7:00 in a park. We get there at a quarter till and no one is there exept the organizer. All we had was our guitars and our PA becuz we were going to use Addled Grays amps and drums so everything would be fine as long as they showed up. But Devin from Addled Gray got strep throat so they had canceled. So anyway now its 7:30 and the only people there are us, the organizer, and like 8 people. 2 of the guys left and got acoustic guitars and played each for like 30 mins.  Now its like 9:30 and we're like damnit we're not leaving till we play. So we hook up our two mics, and our bass and guitar directly to the PA.  We also rounded up two trash cans for drums. Jonny D also used an empty soda with ice in it for a shaker. So we played, mostly cover songs, for about 45 minutes for about 7 people, and of course sounded horrible since we had no amps or drums.  It was a great time.
May 4, 2001. This was our second "real" show i guess. We opened, and had Doug himself sing on Doug Free. Also we threw a bunch of crap into the crowd, like band-aids, and sponges. Then it was Asphyxia, always good. Then waste of time played which was awesome just cuz you dont see to many ska bands around here.  Then AmberDexter came up to play the best show of their career, very good performance. I was gone during the next band, amazing transparent man. And then the last band was NIL8- they put on an amazing show as always. This show was awesome just cuz we got to play with NIL8.
May 26, 2001. At the Hut in Bartonville. We found out about this show very late the night before. Addled Gray had to cancel so they asked us to take their place. So we opened the show. It was echo-ey as fuck so everything sounded weird but it went good. Later everyone was drunk and fighting. Somebody threw a beer at the band Sick while they were playing and it knocked something over so the that guy at the lead singer almost got in a fight. All and all, some fucked up fun times for all*. The other bands were M.I.A, Sick, and The Insulted.
