Mary called me at 6.30 when I was eating supper. Her mother
was still in surgery having been there since around noon. Twenty
one members of the family are at the hospital and get hourly
reports on the progress.

It is almost 11 now and I'm not really sleepy. The pepsi I
had after dinner is to blame.
