Surhud's Home page

My name is Surhud Shrikant More and if you are not an Indian you may not only find it very big but also strange to pronounce it. My friends call me SuMo (though I am not even comparable to what Sumos are supposed to be )

I am the only child of the loveliest of parents Shrikant More and Asha More. But they never made me feel lonely.  My best friend is undoubtedly my mother. She knows me inside out and what happens to me.

My native place is Dehugaon but I spent my childhood years in a small village called Mushet near the Alibag. My village is very small with a population of just about 150. It has greenery all around and we have a small field too where I occasionally work. The people in my village are very kind, helpful and loving in nature. The love that I receive from them is irreciprocable.

I completed my study till 7th Standard in the Indian Education Society Varsoli and later till 10th I was in the General Arun kumar Vaidya Highschool in Alibag. The college years I spent in Pune  were in the historical Fergusson College. Here I was also enrolled in the Bhaskaracharya Pratishthana from where I learnt how to learn. Under the bale guidance of Prof Acharya  and Prof M Prakash I got to know the way to study. My friend circle also helped me a lot. I still learn many things from them.

I was able to clear JEE with an All India Rank of 1015  and managed to egt a seat in the Aerospace department but in a year I shifted to the department of my choice: Engineering Physics.
