This film doesn't count as the "official" James Bond film, as it was released by Warner Brothers not by United Artists. It was basically a remake of "Thunderball". It was released the same year as the "official" "Octopussy".

They have made $4 billion since "Dr No" in 1962.

Brosnan's four films alone (Golden Eye, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World is Not Enough, and Die Another Day) have made $1.5 billion.

The new Bond is Daniel Craig in "Casino Royale" - this film is to be released in November 2006.
