Christine Brosnan/Breslin* McCandless was a native of Castletownbere, County Cork, Ireland and immigrated to the United States as a teenager. She married Joseph Franklin McCandless, son of John Franklin McCandless and Margaret Elizabeth Whatley. Christine is the daughter of George Brosnan and Eileen O'Neill.
