All smiles as he heads for the car and a little free time, Patrick will soon pass the Iwo Jima Memorial that is in the upper left-hand in this photo. It was before this Memorial that Patrick and his fellow Platoon members received their Eagle, Globe and Anchor following their successful completion of the Crucible on 1 Nov 2001.
